Recall at Aldi: Salmonella a risk with this sausage

Because of a possible Salmonella contamination, the manufacturer Herm has. Schepers & Comp. GmbH & Co. KG from Kempen called in Krefeld, as a precaution, his Salami “Salame Felino PGi 100g” back.

From the consumption of the products from the specified product batches is strongly discouraged.

Salmonella can lead to an infection with diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting and a slight fever.

The sausage should have been consumed already, and symptoms show, it is strongly advised to see a doctor.

The recall affected is the article “Salame Felino PGi” in 100 g per pack and the minimum shelf-life data, 28.08.2020 and 04.09.2020.

Other products of the company Herm. Schepers & Comp. GmbH & Co. KG are not affected.

Was sold the Salami on Aldi-Süd in the following provinces:

  • Saarland
  • North Rhine-Westphalia
  • Bayern
  • Baden-Württemberg
  • Rhineland-Palatinate

Withdrawal of the Salami

Customers who have purchased the product “Salame Felino PGi 100g”, will be asked not to eat the sausage, but in your Aldi Süd store return.

Without the receipt you will be refunded there of the purchase price.
