Ciara’s New Bangs Are Tempting Us to Break Out the Scissors

Tracking celebrity hair changes is kind of our thing, and we're so into what Ciara's been doing lately. The singer recently surprised fans with a long, pastel blue wig — a look very much outside the norm for her. And as it turns out, Cici wasn't done experimenting with styles, judging by the long bangs she recently debuted on her Instagram grid. 

The mother of three blessed fans with a retro-inspired outfit that makes her look like a Pink Lady straight off the set of Grease. She's sitting pretty in a baby-pink varsity jacket and matching leather poodle skirt — as is her three-year-old daughter, Sienna, who is wearing an adorable mini version of her mom's 'fit. Cici's soft glam makeup, layered necklaces, and metallic set of bangles add a modern touch to the look. 

Just so we don't lose the overall retro mood, Ciara's signature blonde-highlighted brown hair is worn in a bouncy half-up, half-down style. Tousled waves cascade past her shoulders and the star of the moment — her blunt bangs — are putting in overtime, framing her face perfectly. The bangs fall at the perfect length, skimming just above her eyes, before flaring out lightly on the sides. 

The style has been trending in the latter half of 2020, and Ciara shows how to execute it with ease. Her honey-blonde bangs are giving everything, including the inspiration you may have needed for that next haircut you've been thinking about.
