Watch This Bodybuilder Try Calisthenics Power Stunts

Bodybuilder Jon Call, aka Jujimufu, is a 5’11”, 230-pound beast known for his impressive acrobatic abilities and flexibility. He pushes his skills to the limit on video challenges, taking on barbell backflips, bouldering challenges, and other gymnastics routines.

Call, Ninja World Champion Anton Fomenko, and Tom Boyden each took turns testing out their calisthenic talents (or lack thereof) in a new YouTube video. The gang had a gymnasium all to themselves to work on landing different maneuvers they’ve seen, extreme calisthenic challenges, including moves on high bars with a 360 degree twist, a no-hands jaw hold, and back flips.

Fomenko nails the 360 degree bar spin, but the other guys give up after some fruitless attempts. After more stunts on the bars, they move to the floor to do pushup variations, where the goal is to get massive air and attempt 360 degree flips and other tricks. Call even gives Fomenko some extra force, flipping him through a leaping pushup.

They move back to the bars to test out their shoulder mobility, which looks painfully like they’re dislocating their shoulders, using a drill called “skin the cat.” The guys feel like an increased range of motion is the only way they’re going to be able to nail some of the more dynamic swinging maneuvers.

As the video wraps, the guys admit defeat.

“We respect all calisthenics people, cuz this is very hard, we’re actually terrible at it,” says Tom. “Except Anton, he’s quite good.”
