Tracee Ellis Ross Just Showed Off Her Toned Abs And Butt In A Sweaty Workout Video

  • Tracee Ellis Ross, 47, just showed off her toned abs in a new workout video.
  • The Black-ish star was doing a balance-challenging workout routine at Tracy Anderson Method.
  • Tracy has trained Tracee for about seven years, and all that hard work has paid off.

It’s leg day in Tracee Ellis Ross’s world, but it’s also…back day?The Black-ish star shared a glimpse into her new workout routine at Tracy Anderson Method, the boutique studio started by celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, who has trained Tracee for about seven years. The 47-year-old actress’s new routine includes weighted leg lifts, buttressed by resistance bands to keep her posture straight, so it works her back muscles in addition to her legs. Oh, and Tracee did it all while showing off her toned abs.

“New week, new routine 💪🏾 posture, posture…peep the stick! …and the sweat…it’s 98 in there,” Tracee captioned the workout video. (And peep the floor! That is a LOT of sweat.)

“I have to say that Tracy Anderson’s workout the last five years has been really good for me,” the Girlfriends alum told Health back in 2017. “I find that, as adults, we stay so regimented in our movement, even if we get on a treadmill. The music changes all the patterns, and my body gets to move freely, so you feel amazing—which is ultimately the point of the workouts, too.”

Tracee tries to work out three or four times a week, and keeps herself hydrated by drinking about four liters of water per day, according to her People food diary.

Plus, as evidenced by her new workout video, she doesn’t opt for the private training sesh, instead choosing to sweat it out with a bunch of other badass women. “One of the things that’s most encouraging is you see a roomful of women working their asses off and looking beautiful,” she told Health. “You see women in their 40s wearing jog bras and their stomachs out proudly, walking in a stance that says, ‘I love my body,’ and that’s exciting to me.”
