- January Jones, 43, was the star of her very own at-home photoshoot in a new Instagram post.
- The actress showed off her toned abs while wearing a one-shouldered, hot pink bikini.
- January swears by Pilates classes to help her stay in such great shape.
January Jones, 43, has been showcasing her amazing wardrobe (and super strong abs!) on her Instagram all summer long. From topless snaps to cute swimsuits, January is living large in her own backyard, and showing off her sculpted bod, to boot.
In a brand new at-home photoshoot, the Mad Men actress takes toned to the next level. January rocks a hot pink, one-shouldered bikini while posing for the camera.
“Friday! Go get wet! 💦,” she captioned the post, and fans were basically falling all over themselves in the comments. One fan wrote, “😮😍🔥,” while another added, “abs on fire 🔥 💪🏿😍.” “Gorgeous! 🙌,” someone else commented, and that one’s a no-brainer.
But just how does January keep that bod looking so strong?

Turns out, January’s a huge Pilates fan. “I wanted to do something for my posture and core strength,” she told Shape. “Two or three years ago I started doing barre classes, and after that I took regular private Pilates lessons.”
“Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates,” she continued. “I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked.”
January knows that Lagree Pilates is grueling, but she says the effort is totally worth it. She’s not a fan of working out alone, though: “There are 10 of us in the class, and I like having women on both sides of me to push me,” she said.
“When I did the private Pilates lessons a couple of years ago, I just saw myself getting lazy with it because there wasn’t that drive for competition,” she added. “For me, that’s what’s motivating. If there’s someone strong next to me, I definitely want to up my game. I find myself looking forward to it more than I’ve ever looked forward to a workout.”
As far as her diet goes, January knows when to indulge her cravings. “I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I want something—steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it,” she told Shape. Her breakfast is usually celery juice and a banana, and lunch might be a soup, a sandwich, or a salad.
Dinner is when January really gets creative. “I love to cook for my son and me. For dinner, we like salmon with french fries, and we make pasta frequently. We try to have lots of green veggies,” she said.
Sometimes, keeping it simple is best. (Brb, signing up for Pilates RN.)
