Tennis Superstar Interview with: Angelique Kerber via Social Media and mental strength
Despite their UPS and downs Angelique Kerber is not only Germany’s currently best tennis player – you just landed in the “Forbes”Ranking of the world’s best-paid athletes with an estimated annual income of more than 10.5 million euros.
Shortly before she retired in August at the US Open in the opening game, we met the “Sportswoman of the year 2018” for an Interview.
Relaxed and balanced, presented Kerber in Munich, the new campaign from Head & Shoulders, head and face, and talked with us about the influence of Instagram and Co in professional sport, and about their rituals right before a Match.
FIT FOR FUN: at the beginning of their career in 2007, was Myspace the largest social network, students and Studi-VZ were announced. Instagram wasn’t there …
Angelique Kerber: Oh, God, right! Studi-VZ was the first, and then Facebook came. Then it went to Twitter and Instagram more, and I was rather a late starter.
FIT FOR FUN: How important are social networks for you today as a professional athlete?
