Dubby May Have Special Needs, but She Has No Idea She’s Different!

Dubby is a very special girl looking for a loving home in the New York City area! She’s blind, deaf and has a congenital vestibular syndrome—which our staff would be happy to tell you all about—but these things make her all the more special and she navigates life in her own way! Dubby’s foster caregiver has this to say about her: 

“Dubby is a brave soul with fear of the unknown, which is most things given her blindness and inability to hear. She mainly explores the world through scent, which means you’ll see her spending a lot of time with her nose in the air. Because everything comes as a surprise to Dubby, it’s best to allow her to come to you for attention. She prefers her paws on the floor and doesn’t enjoy exploring heights so far. It will take Dubby a great deal of time to adjust to novel spaces, and she will need a patient adopter willing to accept a cat that’s differently-abled.” 

We can assure you that this kitty is certainly worth the time!
