Arnold 'The Boss' Schwarzenegger Gives Son Joseph Baena Tips as He Lifts Weights: 'Always 100%'

Arnold Schwarzenegger is “the boss.”

At least that’s how his youngest son, Joseph Baena, refers to him. The 71-year-old former bodybuilder appeared to be giving his 21-year-old son some tips as the college student lifted weights at Gold’s Gym in a photo shared on Baena’s Instagram Story Friday.

Baena, who was born to the action star and his former housekeeper Mildred Baena, wrote, “Always 100%”

“Especially when the boss is around,” he added with a sweat drop emoji.

In an Instagram post Baena shared, he and Schwarzenegger posed alongside other bodybuilders at the gym in preparing for the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival — a multi-sport event created in 1989 and named after the former California governor.

“Getting a great pump with some of the strongest men in the world! Will we see you at the @arnoldsports Strongman Pro?” Baena wrote in the caption.

Baena frequently shares photos of his workouts and progress in which he shows off how closely he resembles his famous father.

“Just a lil thick,” he captioned a full body shot of himself flexing his muscles in a class pose his father made in 1976.

The original photo was taken after Schwarzenegger won Mr. Olympia for the sixth time.

In November, Baena shared another look at his physique while at the gym. Wearing a yellow cutoff shirt and black shorts in the video, he flexed his muscles and hinted that his progress at body lifting was just the start of his fitness routine.

“It’s only the beginning ?? #progress #classicphysique @seancaseyfitness,” he wrote in the caption.

In response to one particular pose he made, fans shared their disbelief.

“Baby Arnold ready for Hollywood,” one user commented, while another wrote, “The Terminator Genetics!”

In July, Baena shared another photo of himself with Schwarzenegger in front of Gold’s Gym and wished his father a happy 71st birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the man that’s always pumped! Love you dad,” Baena wrote.

Like the photos before, it had fans seeing double as the pair embraced in a tight handshake and flexed their biceps.

Schwarzenegger has four other children from his marriage to Maria Shriver: Katherine, 29, Christina, 27, Patrick, 25, and Christopher, 21.
