Watch Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson Punch a Bodybuilder Repeatedly in the Stomach

Several months after taking a leg-kick beating from UFC’s Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson on YouTube, bodybuilder Houston Jones decides it’s time to restore his good name and claw back some self-respect by facing off against the MMA star in another fighting challenge. This time, he sets the terms, throwing down the gauntlet and daring Thompson to punch him in the stomach.

“I’m going to be generous enough to let you break your fist on my abs,” he says. “Sorry in advance, for your fists. You’ll never use them again.”

Thompson keeps his boxing gloves on to begin with, throwing single, low-power punches and then working his way up to 100 percent. It’s not long before it becomes painfully clear that Jones may not have thought this all the way through. Thompson is, after all, widely considered to be one of the greatest strikers in the entire history of UFC, and he soon unleashes hell on Thompson’s core, knocking him to the mat a number of times.

“How did you withstand that?” Thompson asks, after a series of maximum power punches.

“I actually don’t know,” admits Jones. “Holy shit, you knocked the wind out of me.”

Thompson follows that with a round of rapid-fire punches, and then strips back some of the padding, putting on a pair of smaller sparring gloves and going back to single punches. He finally takes off the gloves altogether—one punch later, this is where Jones finally bows out.
