Vera Wang is best known for creating iconic bridal gowns, but it turns out the fashion designer can rock a workout ‘fit, too. Twitter did a collective double-take when the 70-year-old (yes, really!) posted a series of streetwear photos on Instagram, featuring some ridiculously toned abs and legs.

Right now, Wang is quarantined in Miami with her “workday fashion family,” and as a result, she’s been taking some fashion risks and exercising more than usual. “All of them are extremely fit, which pushed me to ‘work out’ most days,” she told Harper’s Bazaar for the magazine’s #BazaarHopeAtHome survey of how the fashion community is working through the COVID-19 crisis. “[My quarantine group] being a hardcore fashion group, and me having my lifelong obsession with leggings, I had the opportunity to actually ‘play’ with clothes, something even a fashion designer rarely has the luxury of doing.”

She also shared a photo with the publication that, she said, “depicts my personal conflict between loving athleisure clothing but dreading the treadmill!”

Before she was quarantining in Miami, Wang wasn’t exactly a fitness aficionado, though she trained as a competitive figure skater for most of her childhood in New York City. In 2016, she told InStyle, “I’m not a huge exercise person, but I love to play golf at Liberty National, in Jersey City, N. J., or at Atlantic Golf Club in the Hamptons if I happen to be out there. I’m terrible but enthusiastic.”
