Hurry Up if You Want These Special Edition Dunkin' Doughnut-Themed Running Shoes

The Boston Marathon is less than a month away, and the race-themed shoe designs are starting to roll out. One of the first shoes rolling out is an update to a fan favorite from 2018.

Saucony blew everyone away last year with its collaboration with Dunkin’ to make a doughnut-themed shoe, giving literal meaning to the franchise’s slogan: America Runs on Dunkin’. Combined with one of Saucony’s best franchises, the Kinvara, it was truly a gift from the shoe gods.

This year, both brands re-upped the collaboration effort to make the second edition of the Dunkin’-Saucony shoe, which is now available on Saucony.com for $120.

The design is what you’ll crave the most, which includes the classic Dunkin’ pink-and-orange colors. Designers held the sprinkles this year in place of the Dunkin’ logo splattered across the heel with a reflective strip that reads “Boston” on the back. In addition, coffee lovers will love the coffee cup on the tongue. There is still a doughnut on this shoe that comes in the form of a pink-sprinkled-doughnut medallion on the laces.

As for the Kinvara 10 itself, it is still built to perform as one of Saucony’s best. The Kinvara 10 boasts the Everun foam for ultimate comfort while remaining lightweight. It is an excellent trainer for long marathon training runs or even short-distance miles.

The limited-edition shoe sold out fast in 2018 and is expected to go just as quickly this year. If you want your own doughnut-inspired shoes delivered in a Dunkin’ themed box, you better get them while they’re fresh.
