I am soy intolerant. Normally I like finding a new food I can eat, but recently all I notice is that it isn’t the brand of food everyone else eats. I just want to eat normal food. Do I have a mental problem about my intolerance?

Paying attention to your food intolerance should not be a cause for concern. It will likely always be tough not to be able to eat the same foods as everyone else but it sounds like you are doing what is right for your body by being careful and reading food labels. If thinking about food is starting to be the focus of your day, it might be helpful to see a dietitian, therapist, or health care provider to better understand what role your food intolerance is playing in your mental wellbeing. You could also find an online or in-person support group for people with food intolerances and allergies to build your support network of others who understand what you are going through.
