To Whom It May Concern: Adopt Ginkgo Today!

Hi, my name is Ginkgo and I’m looking to find someone loving and caring to accept me into their home!

Why me, you might ask? Well, to start, I’m an adorably small kitty (about six lb.) who is very low maintenance and I adjust easily to any new routines. Occasionally, you’ll hear my soft meow, but only if I don’t receive my breakfast or dinner in a timely fashion! I’m very curious, love napping in secluded or elevated spots and can’t resist playing with all my toys—especially my toy mice.

When you first meet me, I’ll be a bit nervous and skittish, but if you give me some space to open up, you’ll quickly see how curious and social I am! I haven’t been given much affection before, so to help warm me up to being pet, I can always be persuaded with some delicious snacks. Regardless, I still enjoy being around my human to see what they’re up to!

I’m a wonderful, loving little girl who is looking for someone patient who can take the time to build trust with me. I promise you won’t regret it!

If you have a moment, please take a look at my resume below—which is quite impressive, if I do say so myself! Once you’re convinced that I’m the kitty you need in your life, please visit my profile and submit an adoption application!

Sincerely Yours,

My Resume:

  • I’m initially a bit shy, but with a little love and attention, I’m a very curious and loving lady.
  • I will never turn down an opportunity to play with toys!
  • I’m litterbox trained, quiet, and I’m respectful of my people’s stuff.
  • If feeling a bit scared, I love a nice hiding space beneath a couch or bed to feel more comfortable.
  • I have no issue adjusting to my people’s daily schedules, but I’m not much of an early riser!
  • I love to have a place to scratch, so please be sure to offer me a scratching post I can use!

Favorite Hobbies:

  • Chasing after and launching myself into the air to catch feathery wand toys.
  • Long naps inside a cardboard box fort.
  • Throwing around and chasing after toy mice.
  • Exploring and taking naps in a cat tunnel.
  • Observing and chasing electric toys that move around the room.

Favorite Snacks:

  • Lickable treats while working on any training.
  • Crunchy treats at any time.
  • Canned food for special occasions.

  • Loud, sudden noises and frequent commotion from unknown sources.
  • When someone reaches for me too quickly.
  • When my people don’t share a taste of what they’re snacking on!
