Teresa Giudice has been through a lot lately, what with her husband Joe being deported to Italy and all. But the 47-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star took a timeout from all the drama she’s been living through to share a pic of her svelte self in workout gear, and her abs looking all kinds of amazing.
In the Instagram photo, Teresa can be seen in cute workout leggings and a sports bra. She’s posing for the camera, and her abs are ridiculously tight. “I hope you enjoyed last nights episode,” she wrote in the caption.
People definitely noticed how fit she looks. “You look soooo good!!” one wrote. “LOOKING JACKED,” another said. And, of course, there were fire emojis everywhere.
ICYMI: Teresa started working out pretty hardcore when she served an 11-month prison sentence for fraud in 2015. She had her first bodybuilding competition in 2018, and she looked ridiculously toned in it.
“It was something I’ve always wanted to do—for myself,” Teresa told Us Weekly at the time. “I’ve gone to the gym since I could drive. I wanted to see my body transform.”
“I feel like I look sexier. This is the most confident I’ve felt since after my kids,” she continued. “I love the way my arms and back look. All my clothes are big on me. My body drastically changed because of yoga, but this was even more extreme. It debunks the myth that if you’re over 40, you can’t look good.”
Teresa has shared videos of her training on Instagram, and she told Bravo last year that she goes to the gym “every day.” As for the reality star’s diet, she eats “very clean.”
“My diet has changed. I even hate the word ‘diet,’ but I can’t eat carbs anymore. Like, I’m an Italian girl, I can’t eat my pasta—I gotta eat good carbs,” she said.
So, Teresa is now big on having lots of protein and veggies. “Grilled chicken, grilled turkey, grilled cod, grilled flounder,” she said. “Some of the vegetables I eat are asparagus, green beans. In the morning I have oatmeal; otherwise sometimes I make six egg whites, and I make an omelette out of it and I put some kind of vegetable in it.”
