Not long after having her third baby, Angelo, in May 2019, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made it clear she was dying to get back into the gym. Now, five months later, the Jersey Shore star says she’s exercising regularly, but it’s not as easy as it used to be.
“It’s beyond hard to get back into the gym after having a baby. Especially being a mawma of 3,” Nicole captioned an Instagram photo of herself looking super fit in a sports bra and leggings.
The reality TV star and online fashion shop owner said that her kids’ schedules are “insane” and she’s “tired most of the time & completely shot. BUT, it’s happening!”
As for Snooki’s gym sched, she explained that she’s working out five days a week in order to be a “healthy/strong mawma.” Still, it’s more than a little tough. “Sh*t ain’t easy, as I almost wanted to throw up a dozen times,” she continued. “Let’s keep pushing ourselves, mawmas! #fitmom.”
Support for Snooki flooded the comments section. “You look phenomenal,” wrote her BFF Jenni Farley, a.k.a. JWoww. “You are doing awesome!!! #momgoals,” one fan wrote, while another said they “love the motivation.” (Same!)
Back in June, Snooki clapped back at people who criticized her for saying on Instagram that she “can’t wait to jump back into the gym hardcore this summer!” four days after having her son, Angelo.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but don’t attack me for wanting to become strong and fit again after my pregnancy,” she edited her original post to say. “Postpartum is a bitch. But I’m allowed to look on the bright side of things and want to get back into shape. Don’t punish me for that.”
